First post, not much in it since I've been pretty slammed at work this week.

cali_se and I are your current mods. Cali, thanks for the IM earlier, I'll get in touch this weekend.
I know we have lots to talk about re getting this comm up and running. I thought perhaps we could start tomorrow?mews1945's memorial service is tomorrow. I know some of you are attending but perhaps for those of us who aren't we might do a little on-line wake? Share more memories of her in a group setting? Share favorite fic excerpts? We also have a lot of people who have participated in the read lotr aloud project so maybe people might like to record excerpts and share with the group?
Please discuss :-) FYI, I really am slammed today at work. I've got about 20,000 lines of data I need to get formatted and my programmer tricks are only going to take me so far :-)
